The adoption of new technology will enhance the organisations’ warehousing and distribution capability, supporting over 50 National Pharmacies and more than 90 independent pharmacy customers in South Australia, Victoria, and New South Wales.
The distribution centre handles a wide range of pharmaceutical products, including over the counter, prescription-only and ethical prescription medicines stored under a range of temperatures, compliance, and security conditions. Other products include optical and fast-moving consumer goods.
National Pharmacies Executive General Manager, Ryan Klose, said, “We are pleased to establish this new partnership with Microlistics, which forms part of our broader technology transformation. Their flexible and agile warehouse software will enable us to advance operational productivity further, continuously improve our quality services and take advantage of emerging growth opportunities.
